To use Glimtalk, you must:

• Not be prohibited from using our Service under applicable law
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Not have been previously banned from Glimtalk

3. Account Registration and Security

You must create an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as necessary to keep it accurate.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

4.1 Prohibited Content

You may not post, upload, or share content that:

• Contains viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Is sexually explicit or pornographic (including minors)

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
• Collect user information without consent
• Create multiple accounts to evade bans
• Engage in any form of harassment or bullying

5. User Content

5.1 Your Rights

You retain all rights to the content you post on Glimtalk. You are solely responsible for your content and the consequences of posting it.

5.2 License to Glimtalk

By posting content, you grant Glimtalk a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and distribute your content in connection with operating and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete your content or account, except for content shared with others.

5.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to remove or modify content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable. We use a combination of AI and human moderation to maintain community standards.

6. AI Features and Services

6.1 AI-Generated Content

Glimtalk uses AI to provide features like conversation starters, energy tags, and AI roommates (Zara, Quinn, Blaze). AI-generated content is provided "as is" and may not always be accurate or appropriate.

6.2 AI Roommates

AI roommates are fictional characters powered by AI. They do not represent real people and their responses are generated by algorithms. Do not rely on them for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.).

6.3 Memory Mode (Pro)

Pro users who enable Memory Mode allow our AI to remember past interactions to provide personalized responses. You can disable this feature or delete memories at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

7.1 Glimtalk Pro

Glimtalk offers a Pro subscription ($4.99/month) with additional features including Memory Mode, advanced AI, and memory journals. Pricing is subject to change with notice.

7.2 Billing and Cancellation

• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until cancelled
• You can cancel anytime from your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial months
• We use LemonSqueezy for secure payment processing

7.3 Refund Policy

We generally do not offer refunds. However, we may provide refunds at our sole discretion in cases of billing errors or technical issues preventing service use.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Glimtalk's Rights

The Service, including its design, features, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Glimtalk and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.

8.2 Copyright Infringement

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on Glimtalk infringes your copyright, please email dmca@glimtalk.com with:

• Description of the copyrighted work
• URL of the infringing content
• Your contact information
• Statement of good faith belief
• Statement under penalty of perjury
• Physical or electronic signature

9. Disclaimers

9.1 Service "As Is"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9.2 No Professional Advice

Content on Glimtalk, including AI-generated content, is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise). Always consult qualified professionals for important decisions.

9.3 Third-Party Content

We are not responsible for content posted by users or third-party websites linked from our Service. Users' opinions do not reflect our views.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLIMTALK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Glimtalk and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you post or share

12. Dispute Resolution

12.2 Governing Law
